Of Melodic Metallic Magic

(We're going to pretend that no time has passed since the last post.)

With the world going to shit, we all look for distractions to pass the time in this lockdown. I've gotten so bored that I actually listened to a suggestion and try to start blogging.

Not to sound like your conspiracy chachu, but Pakistani media is so utterly depressing. Been stuck at home means watching batshit crazy and predictable dramas. Dramas that center around affairs, divorces, polygamy, and angrily staring at another person for any reason. Can anyone tell me why are the drama names mostly one word?

One such drama is Sabaat. Mum loves it, however I hate it simply due to the lead "Ho-caine". Her character reminds me of a troubling student I have in one of my classes and it gives me a mild panic attack (said student cries for all sorts of reasons, and I get blamed if I am in the class when she explodes)

As for the news? Covid, Locusts, Shahbaz Shareef, PIA, and repeat.

So segue aside, recently I came across a news article that gave metal-heads like me hope!

Yep! The Minister of Agriculture and Livestock believes that locusts can be killed using metal! Imagine a tiny moshpit with locusts getting trampled in. But, that's not the best part either! The comments are rife with suggestions on which song can kill locusts most effectively!

Upon further digging, I found out that though the level of absurdity of this post is parallel to what the Pakistani government is capable of; this minister, is in fact, from Nepal.

Adding my two cents for anyone who cares, just get Rammstein to do a concert in a large field! Their pyrotechnics are just so beautiful!

Until the next time!
