My New Years Resolution will be 1024 by 786
No, seriously though, Here's the what I resolve I shall do in 2010 (since, if I started thinking like an idiot we have only two more years to live...)
01. Minimal Procrastination. I shall try my best to get things done as soon as possible. Which is why I'm writing my NYR on the second of January
02. More Blogging and Micro Blogging. Hey, I'm starting uni this year so naturally I'll have a lot more going on. I'll integrate the twitter account in a few days once I figure out how to blabber in 140 characters or less.
03. I will abide by my word. I will put up post-its so that I don't forget.
04. I will put in extra effort to make my friends smile. (currently the count is at 2 and both should know who they are)
05. This one is important. I will adopt a temporary personality quirk for each month. I got this idea from this running joke I had going on with an Urdu Sir at work. Each month we'd have a new handshake. And they used to get crazy at times. So for this month I shall call out bakery product's names instead of swears when I want to swear. Only catch, the product must start with the same first letter as the swear.
06. I will rekindle my love for snail mail. You have to reply if you get one.
07. I shall make the spider wall a reality. The plans have been sitting in my journal for the last few years.
08. I shall help out when asked. I shall butt in without being asked. I shall help out without being asked if I feel the situation can be improved. In a nutshell. I'm going to be as nosy and "helpful" this year as I was last year.
09. I shall use my Moleskine which I finished making today regularly to keep me on track. And I shall make a new one when it's about to finish.
10. I shall try and maintain a 2.8 or higher GPA (fee concessions baby!)
11. I am still going to be semi-anonymous on my blog. As it is, I've made it super easy for anyone to track me. Meh.
12. I'll pick up learning Japanese again.
So that's all I can think of at the moment. Yay!

Of Google Woes
Google is lame. For a while now, if you were to click on the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button without typing anything, it would show you a count-down that was supposed to end at New Years.
People gave it alot of speculation. Admittedly I was interested in it too. Turns out it's nothing more that randomly spawning Happy New Year all over the web page. Bah! Google People, you're Google, do something cool!

Of &*%$£"
Before I rant, I'll do you all a favor. Don't read this. I've written this to get it out of my system, since whenever I start to write I usually segue (pronounced segway) to this topic. So, obvious solution was to whine and get over it.
Here it goes, last chance to skip to another post.
11 awful months. That's the time I've been forced to live in social isolation. And by now it's really taking its toll on me. A couple of weeks ago I realized that I'm actually out of practice when it comes to vocal conversations. I'm not exaggerating or blowing things out of proportion here, I really do sound like a half-dead intermediate student who got his education from an urdu-medium low grade school. And I stutter... I never stutter.
After quitting my job, I went into this isolation to focus on my A-Levels, since it was my last chance to get out of this pit I fell head first into ages ago. Then it was because I had to prepare for my University Placement Test. And since my previous bosses knew about it, they refused to give me a recommendation were I to apply for any job. I was to "focus on my future."
Having too much time on your hands is a curse. Your friends grow sick and tired of putting up with you since they, unlike you, have a life. You pretty much do every entertaining activity under the sun. I've re-watched all the completed titles in my anime collection, watched every decent TV show out there, made an effing huge dragon, making a second one, made over 2000 cranes, argh!!
Do get this straight,
Writing isn't the same as talking.
Reading isn't the same as talking.
I'm tired of talking to the same 4 people (and the occasional shopkeeper)
I want to yell, scream, punch stuff, set other stuff on fire and wreak havoc on puny mortals.
Heck, even that blond principal at school won't let me help out, and I was offering for free. WHO DOESN'T LIKE QUALITY HELP FOR FREE? (yes, my desperation has reached the point where I'm willing to do the same job, that i bitched about, for free)
In conclusion, my intellectual thirst is very very thirsty!
